The Nordic area of Col de la Loge is a pleasant and relaxing ski resort nestled in the heart of the Monts du Forez in the Massif Central at 1260 m altitude. It is also the "North" gateway to the magnificent and wild "Hautes Chaumes du Forez" which is offered to you on the top of the slopes as a reward for the effort made to get there. You will discover these vast expanses covered with moors and their sumptuous panoramas over the chain of the Alps and the volcanoes of Auvergne. On the site you can practice cross-country skiing (not alternative and skating) on 7 tracks, or more than 78 km accumulated. The slopes are groomed every day depending on the weather conditions. You can take snowshoe trails, 5 in total or more than 40 km. Baptisms in sled dogs are available on reservation at the Col de la Loge to allow you to experience an exceptional moment for a moment with dogs and nature. In addition, the site has 2 toboggan runs for the little ones fitted out on the site.
