It is located above the village of Goulier, in a valley bottom, between the Garbié peaks of Brésoul (2,047 m) and Pédrix (and not Sarrasi as indicated on the IGN maps) (2,213 m), in a valley parallel to that of the Ourtou, at the foot of the north-north-west face of the Pique d'Endron (2,472 m).
