Eglise Saint Martin (Vic-en-Bigorre)
Historic monument from the 11th century.
Romanesque church, former priory of the Benedictine monastery in the village of Saint Martin de Celle which would become Maubourguet in the 12th century. This monastic installation was located on one of the 4 main pilgrimage routes to Saint Jacques de Compostela. The Romanesque church has the rich particularity of having numerous re-uses of ancient architectural elements and from the High Middle Ages.
