The Tango Festival is off to a flying start! Many locals and tourists gathered around the fountain in Place Marcadieu for the opening night. A Fuego Lento offered a rich blend of music, dance, and fire in a street theater style. The evening continued in the market hall with a milonga, allowing some to dance and others to soak up the atmosphere of Buenos Aires.
The festival runs until August 26th. The number of seats available for the two gala evenings has been increased, so tickets are still available! You can book online or through the tourist office (0562513031). In addition, there are still a few places left for the workshops.
