A smaller edition of the Barakacirq festival this year with a week of shows by young circus performers from the school and a professional show on Friday evening.

Every evening until Friday, Passing celebrates the circus with performances by students and professionals. Following the shows at the Vic-en-Bigorre and Bagnères-de-Bigorre venues on Thursday and Friday, the Tarbes circus school is celebrating the end of the year with a mini-edition of the Barakacirq festival. They already hosted a family event last Saturday with workshops for children and their parents, and a performance by the older students. But the festival officially begins on Tuesday at 6 pm with activities and a student performance at their circus school, the Arsenal, which has been transformed into a performance venue. Every evening throughout the week, student groups will perform in the same format.

After Friday's student performance, it will be the professionals' turn. The Gers-based collective Tarabiscoté will present their show "Liens" (Links) at 9 pm, which promises to explore how individual paths and decisions impact others. They will also be there on Saturday for the closing event of the festival outside the walls of the Circus School, which will be taking over the Mouysset district. They are announcing a performance by acrobats from the Tarabiscoté collective at 11 a.m., along with demonstrations and circus workshops.
