Located on a sunny plateau, Verbier, the most cosmopolitan of Valais resorts, enjoys a unique panorama of the Combins massif and Mont-Blanc. In winter, its extraordinary ski area offers an unlimited playground for both international athletes and beginners. In summer, a large number of signposted routes will delight mountain biking and hiking enthusiasts. From the first snowfall, Verbier is a delight for winter sports enthusiasts. “Les 4 Vallées”, a ski area with no less than 410 km of slopes and more than 89 ski lifts, includes the resorts of Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon and La Tzoumaz. A cable car serves the summit of Mont-Fort at an altitude of 3330 meters, the descent of which is one of the most beautiful black slopes in the Alps.
