The Donostia-San Sebastián Aquarium is one of the most visited facilities in the Spanish Basque Country, with 300,000 visitors per year. A few minutes from the city center and glued to the Old Town, with its rich and varied gastronomic offer, it is located on the port quay, in one of the most picturesque areas of the city and is part of the sightseeing circuit obligatory for anyone traveling to the city of San Sebastián.
The Aquarium of San Sebastián hosts in its emblematic building, built in 1928, two floors dedicated to the maritime and marine heritage of Guipúzcoa, in which we find the skeleton of a right whale, as well as a multitude of pools that will allow you to discover more than 200 species from the Cantabrian Sea and a great diversity of tropical species, not to mention its famous 360º transparent tunnel.
