It was a tense drama set in the middle of the ocean that the production team and the Mosaïque company presented to the Tarbes audience on Tuesday evening. After a month-long residency, Tuesday evening's preview offered a glimpse into the company's work and Benjamin Haegel's direction of the eponymous play by Gloria Carreño, undoubtedly the most English of Bagnères residents. We discover a raft adrift and its three castaways. Three actresses—Dominique Prunier, Mirabelle Maquet, and Fanny Honoré—portray three characters as improbable as each other, who will take us on a journey of just over an hour of intrigue to discover who is truly alive, for how long, who is definitively dead, who is the victim, and who is the perpetrator. All of this is delivered with deliciously biting humor and a distinctly British sense of irony. And we discover that this plot, which begins in a thick fog, will lead us not so far from home. After its launch at Le Pari, this raft will begin its journey, sailing towards other venues, starting with a stopover in Luz-Saint-Sauveur a few days later and at the Lourdes convention center in the autumn. After this week of performances, all that remains is to wish bon voyage to this raft, born before the eyes of the Tarbes audience!
