I - NON-AVIATION PUBLIC EVENTS TAKE PLACE ADJACENT TO THE AERODROME

AND ON PARTS OF IT. THESE EVENTS RESULT IN ASSEMBLIES OF MORE THAN

1000 PERSONS REQUIRING COMPLIANCE WITH RULES OF THE AIR REGULATIONS

2015 (AS AMENDED) , RULE 5, (2) (A), WHEREBY ANY AIRCRAFT LANDINGS

AND TAKE-OFFS WITHIN 1000 METRES OF THE ASSEMBLIES MUST BE IN

ACCORDANCE WITH PROCEDURES NOTIFIED BY THE CAA.

DURING ASSEMBLIES OF MORE THAN 1000 PERSONS THE AERODROME IS

NOTIFIED VIA NOTAM AS CLOSED. HOWEVER, THE AERODROME OPERATOR MAY,

SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH SPECIFIC RISK MITIGATING PROCEDURES,

ISSUE PERMISSION TO A LIMITED NUMBER OF AIRCRAFT OPERATORS TO LAND

AND TAKE-OFF WHEN ASSEMBLIES OF MORE THAN 1000 PERSONS ARE PRESENT.

IN THESE CASES THE PROVISIONS OF RULE 5 (2) (A) ARE DEEMED TO HAVE
