From an early age, Marion CONSTANCE devoted herself to painting. Very quickly, captivated by color, she chose to shake up conventions and academisms. Through her work and her research on pigments, she obtains colors of which she alone keeps the secret. Visual artist graduated from the DNSEP (National Superior Diploma of Plastic Expression), Marion CONSTANCE very quickly made a name for herself in the art world.
Her unique and dynamic palette has led her to represent France in many countries and major exhibitions internationally. Today his works, whatever the technique chosen (oils, acrylics, mixed media, etc.), travel all over the world: from galleries, to museums of contemporary art or even in international biennials such as that of Florence or Art Basel. at Miami. She exhibits in the United States, Italy, Russia, Asia and even in some African countries...
For more than twenty years, his career has been punctuated by plastic and technical discoveries. In the 2000s, she created a whole new series of nudes worked only with tea and coffee that she still uses today. She manages to transform tea and coffee into a pictorial technique, a real innovation. As she says, “The warm hues that tea and coffee provide lend themselves well to nudes. In addition, these mediums are very robust over time, some Eastern countries use tea and coffee to color the textile. It took me a year of research and testing to manage to transform tea and coffee into a real pictorial technique. What is certain is that after my preparation, the product obtained is so pasty and sticky, like real paint, that we could no longer drink it!" She chose to call this series "pOse Coffee".
Her new approaches to painting and the mediums used quickly opened doors for her in large cities such as: New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Florence... In 2009, she received the "Medal of Honor and of French artistic merit".
For the past ten years, she has specialized in the creation of oil paintings that she works with a trowel to make the most of the material, the effects and the graphics. Marion CONSTANCE stands out in her constant search for novelty and personal challenges. She reworks her painting and re-pigments it in order to obtain particular colors, some fluorescent, sometimes phosphorescent which make her palette unique and offers a second reading in the dark.
Passionate about travel, Marion CONSTANCE offers us her discoveries in the four corners of the world, from very popular places to atypical and unknown places that she took care to sketch during her travels. She depicts places as mythical as New York, Hong Kong, Route 66, Paris and Venice or other more innocuous ones but sublimated by a symbol or a monument. She manages with modernity to find the potential in any place to transcribe only its particularity, its beauty, the desire to project oneself there or even simply to dream of it...
It was during the health crisis that the artist tackled volume, a desire that took shape during this long private period of exhibitions in France and abroad. “I had wanted to go into volume for a very long time, but I never found the time to do it. Deprived of travel, fairs, any exhibitions and no longer having, during the confinements, my galleries to supply since they were closed, I seized the moment to immerse myself completely in this new series of Eve and 'Adam. ".
