Les 2 Alpes has been a leading summer vacation destination in Isère since the 1970s. Even back then, the allure of the mountains and the search for fresh air attracted vacationers and athletes. Today, summer represents 22% of the station's annual activity, and it has successfully modernized to become an essential location, combining relaxation with trendy activities. The resort is a true base camp for skiing, mountain biking, hiking, cycling, trail running, and other mountain activities.

Les 2 Alpes has also adapted to offer an exceptional site for professional skiers and snowboarders, who can access the high-altitude domain starting from April 29th (until June 30th). The summer season then continues until August 25th.

Around 70,000 vacationers come to experience Les 2 Alpes in the summer (compared to 250,000 to 280,000 in winter). From May to mid-July, the clientele is mainly made up of professionals and athletes. From mid-July to the end of August, families come to enjoy a variety of activities and hikes, just a stone's throw from the Écrins National Park and the Oisans massif.
