Finalement "Mademoiselle Julie", est une pièce légère. Avec "La danse de mort", Second volet de la trilogie Strinberg proposé par le Parvis passe au vitriol. Après 25 ans de vie commune, Edgar, capitaine à la retraite et son épouse Alice ont accumulé tant de griefs que la situation devient intenable. Et pourtant elle continue. Un équilibre précaire qui permet de ne pas sombrer, en attendant une mort salvatrice. Mais l'arrivée de Kurt, un cousin, va rompre cet équilibre et libérer toute la haine accumulée.
La mise en scène très physique de Margarita Mladenova permet à toute l'(in)humanité de la pièce de s'imposer. La pression va monter tout au long de la pièce, et cette explosion de haine donne lieu à des moments d'une rare intensité. On en oublie que tout ça se joue en Bulgare...
