BasarKus has too many arms. Or not enough heads. The opening half-hour on the Pari stage, kicking off The Grand Game
at the Parvis. Dance will intertwine with juggling and acrobatics to deliver a show that plays with the body. And even the bodies of the two performers, who will explore throughout the performance the perspectives offered by this double body and discover what separation can offer. A performance that will make young audiences laugh with the postures and clever interplay of these intertwined bodies. It will also speak to the rest of the audience, who will grasp that beyond the virtuosity of the performance, the piece illuminates the subject of the body, which is at the heart of dance and circus arts, in a dimension that transcends conventions. Two beautiful interpretations of this fabulous story of BasarKus, which lives up to its promise.
