Workshop of the Architect Edmond Lay who settled his residence in Barbazan-Debat. he sets up his agency in this rural and preserved environment. It is in this vast futuristic vessel that Edmond Lay, surrounded by a team, designs dozens of innovative and landmark projects. The building is made up of a vast quadrangle crouched at ground level, the discreet presence of which in no way diminishes the expressive force. Closed off the road by heavy concrete slabs made by the architect himself, it opens up widely to the landscape. The interior spaces covered with concrete and wood, sober and rational, are nevertheless warm and on a human scale, like a dwelling house.
