ADH 65, the Hautes Pyrénées branch of the National Humanitarian NGO HAMAP, which brings together and supports humanitarian and solidarity projects around the world, is organizing a one-evening mini-festival to put Water and the Other
on the stage of the CAC in Séméac. We have begun a discussion with the community around humanitarian projects," explains Jacques Gayraud, president of the ADH 65 association.
After the conferences on Setting up a humanitarian project, this year we want to talk about art in the service of humanity and humanitarianism
. This is taking shape with the Water & the Other festival, which will take place on Wednesday, February 12 at the CAC in Séméac. A festival that will use art for one evening to communicate on the issue of water and humanitarian projects, particularly in Africa.
An approach that resonates with another association, Génération Responsable, and its initiative to put art at the service of the earth and to raise awareness among the general public. This is what the association is doing with the theater option at Lycée Marie-Curie on the issue of soil health. A group of young actors under the direction of Marie Ponsot has been working to prepare a show that they will present on Wednesday evening's "L'eau de l'autre" (Water of the Other). The same goes for Jazz MDA, which will be present at this festival. And the Université du Temps Libre des Hautes-Pyrénées, with a conference on the link between art and humanitarian work. An evening that can open up perspectives for associations and the general public.
