There are still about ten days left to see the works of Pauline Zenk. A German artist who works between Berlin and Toulouse, winner of the Grand Prix Occitanie de l'Art contemporain in 2017 and who has already exhibited in Toulouse, Hamburg, and Brazil. An artist whom Atelier 20 allows us to discover in around thirty drawings and paintings, between the Kingdom of Magic series full of Mickeys in embraces dripping with an affection as artificial as it is self-serving. And other series like Lumières d'été and désamour which give rise to portraits treated with beautiful dynamics. She's an artist I've been following for a long time. I really like her gestures, which seem rapid, and the use of her colors, explains Emmanuelle Hirsch, who was opportunistic in bringing her works to Tarbes: I took advantage of an exhibition in Toulouse last year to ask her to exhibit in Tarbes. I prepared the exhibition with her via videoconference, but she will come to Tarbes for the closing ceremony that we will do on the penultimate day, Saturday, April 12. So there are only a few days left to see this exhibition, which is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., until April 13 at Atelier 20 at 20 Rue des Pyrénées in Tarbes.
