Belfi will deliver a show full of surprises at the MDA on Quai de l'Adour next Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. That's about all we can say, given the baroque and unpredictable format. Those who have seen the previous installments know that the only thing that's almost certain is that Belfi is unpredictable, and that his seventh space opera promises to be singularly enlightening. Even if the purpose of this new opus isn't particularly festive, since it's a tribute to his partner Aline, and to Poppins and Ozzy, their dogs, who also passed away. "I thought I had put an end to my Space Operas and said everything I could about grief. But after the eight deaths I had to endure last year, I felt the need to make one more space opera for my deceased loved ones and for all those who are grieving. Or who will grieve one day. That is, everyone." So here he is back after a 10-year hiatus for a seventh installment. "I was refused the pyrotechnics, but there will still be new features and guests, but I won't say any more: it's a surprise." The only thing he reveals is that there will be Béatrice de Yerles who embodies Serenity, and he promises us a fight between Belfi who plants the Cape of Light and Romain the Cape of Shadow.
