A small village located between 880 and 1260 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Jura massif, Longchaumois offers a number of Nordic services and activities. A hamlet with scattered housing, you will enjoy crisscrossing the cross-country ski or snowshoe trails and discovering the typical habitat of the Haut-Jura. And if you want to get away from it all and get off the beaten track, Nordic ski touring, off the groomed trails, will satisfy this desire. And to discover this habitat, why not take one of the many snowshoe trails, from the village if conditions allow or from Rosset. Two trail departures are possible from Longchaumois: - Departure from the Rosset Station: the best known and which offers the most trails and services: play area, first aid station, ski lift, equipment rental, royalty sales, toboggan run, Nordic skier Cross. - Le Poteau departure: less known departure and with fewer slopes but which allows you to connect the Rousses resort through the Bois de la Sambine (red slopes Les Arobiers to Lamoura or red slope Les Chevreuils to Prémanon).
