Flamboyant Gothic in type, this belfry (square on the first two floors then octagonal 35 meters high) is the vestige of what was the church of the preaching brothers of the order of Saint-Dominic.
The church was destroyed by fire in 1343.
The convent and the cloister were demolished in 1793.
